finding flow

annie \\ 25 \\ california\\ just trying to find my flow.

If you think your pyramid scheme of a company is a start-up, newsflash kid, you have no right to come in and tell me that there was no way a social shopping site would have succeeded. 1) You never worked in the start-up industry in the first place and 2) you revealed your lack of competence when you brought up Goodreads as an example of a social website that succeeded and pinned its success to its “great” recommendation engine. GTFO noob.

Also, later when you bug me online for marketing tips, don’t expect me to drop all my shit and come running over to help you. When it became clear that you were just going to constantly pester me for more and more information, when you barely took the time to google some elementary concepts before contacting me and when I told you I was smack dab in the middle of studying, I’m going to consider you an asshole and frankly not a friend. Especially since we haven’t really talked in over 4 years.

So next time I don’t respond to your call that is clearly obviously only intended to bug me into lunch so that I can basically provide consulting services to your “company”, and I understandably ignore your attempts, don’t put up some juvenile quote about how if I’m not around for your struggles I won’t be around for your success. Maybe you should do business like a man and not a 16 year old kid.

And guess what. Success is out of the question now. That daily deals boat has come and sailed. Welcome to 2008. Boom bitch.

Also, pestering my friend into sending you a wedding invite after I told you I was in her wedding, and then not going because you were too lazy to go to socal is a real asshole thing to do. Consider that as one of the reasons why I don’t want to help you.
